TRIAL - Knovel

Knovel is a web-based application integrating technical information with analytical and search tools to drive innovation and deliver answers engineers can trust. It is comprised of authoritative science and technology references used by academics, professional engineers, and engineering students around the world. Providing a vital resource for technical data for a career in engineering, Knovel provides students with experience retrieving the critical research data necessary to solve real-world engineering problems.?

Profile Booster: Optimise Your Researcher Profile, 5 & 11 September 2019

Take your researcher profile to the next level with these?hands-on sessions.?Bring your own laptop?and?chat with library and IT training?staff about?maximising the impact of your researcher profile across the various platforms (ORCiD, Aurora, Researcher Profiles and more!).?The session on 5 September will have an arts and professions focus, while the session on 11 September will have a STEM and medical focus.

Demystifying Research Metrics lecture

This lecture, held on Tuesday 27 August,?is for staff and students who would like to find and understand their research metrics.?Metrics can be used when applying for grants, promotions and positions.?The lecture is particularly useful for research students and Early Career Researchers.
